In creating this mixed media piece, I sought to blend the textured richness of pigments and acrylics with the delicate subtlety of gouache and colored pencils along with a number of other mediums. The scene was captured and inspired by my Lego modular building collection, alive under an impressionistic sky. My use of layered pigments adds depth, suggesting echoes of past eras mingling with today’s vibrant life. This painting, with its dynamic sky and timeless architecture, invites viewers to lose themselves in a nostalgic yet ever-changing panorama of childhood memories.
This mixed media piece on canvas arrives in a roll, in which the customer may have stretched by a local frame shop or artist. The canvas extends over 2 inches on each side from the listed measurement. Giving it enough material to be gallery wrapped around a 1.5 deep stretcher and maintaining the dimensions of 140x80.
